1st Line IT Helpdesk Support Engineer.

We have a new and exciting opportunity for an ambitious 1st Line Support Engineer to join our hard working and friendly team at our Head Office in Highams Park, East London. If you’re a recent graduate, or someone that has a keen interested in Computers and Technology and you’d like to step-up and work in a dynamic fast-paced environment, then we encourage you to apply for this role. Full training and development will be given.

Your key responsibilities are as follows:  

  • Provide our clients with 1st / 2nd line support to our via telephone and remote  access.
  • Log new and update existing support tickets in our new online ticketing system
  • Visit sites to support users in person when required
  • Support our clients in the use of computer equipment by providing necessary guidance and advice
  • Provide day-to-day support for 3rd Party Applications ( such as Microsoft Office/365 etc.) and bespoke 1st party in-house applications
  • Provide day-to-day support for Cloud-based services (such as Office 365, Sage, Adobe etc.)
  • Conduct basic Active Directory Administration
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues on PCs, Apple Macs and Peripherals

Your Skillset.

  • A basic working knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems from Windows 7 onwards will be an advantage
  • You need a basic understanding of current leading technologies and terminology
  • A basic understanding of networking would also be an advantage
  • A ‘Hands on’ approach and a willingness to learn and progress is essential
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Able to prioritise under pressure and work to deadlines
  • Excellent Decision making and judgement 
  • Exceptional planning and organisation skills

Your Working Hours.

This role is suitable for someone that likes to make an early start. Your working hours are from 07:00 am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday. There will also be plenty of overtime opportunities moving forward.
